Plus, we have plenty of samples for you to take home and match up with your home decor.

Measure Up!

We can arrange an appointment to come to your home and measure your space. It's a good idea to know what products you would like at this time so we recommend visiting our showroom beforehand. It’s a good idea at the time you call to mention any building work or decorating that you are planning on or have recently completed as it may affect your floor for example, if you plan to pain your skirting boards with a gloss paint, it will need a week to harden and so we recommend the use of an eggshell paint if you want the drying time to speed up for your new floor. Once we see your space, know your product choice and your decor/building plans, we can give you a quote and plan your fitting day.

Just need an idea of how much flooring will you need?
You may want to make a rough measurement of your space, this will help you get a good idea of how much flooring you will need, and the cost involved Take measurements of the longest and widest part of your room, including bay windows, alcoves and doorways. Add 10cm onto each measurement for cutting. This is will enable us to provide you with an idea of cost. Your total cost will include fitting charges and any additional materials or services that you will require.

Estimated quotes

Approximately 1 week after we have measured your space, you will receive a detailed estimated quote via email. A deposit of 50% will be required on booking in. With every quote, we give you the following things are included.

  • The flooring product e.g. Crucial Trading Carpet, Karndean, Amtico, Quickstep Laminate
  • Underlay for carpet
  • Adhesive
  • Smoothing compounds (smooths not levels)
  • Door bars
  • Fitted professionally
  • Uplift & eco-friendly disposal of your old flooring


additional work

Other services like, the filling of holes and grinding down sub-flooring that will be determined after your old floor is removed. Please note that while we aim for our estimate to be accurate as possible, we can’t foresee every issue until your old flooring is completely removed. Any additional work required will be discussed with you before we proceed with fitting your floor.

Moving furniture should be mentioned at the measuring appointment so we can ensure that we have enough time and staff to do this safely on the fitting day .

Extras would include the following:-

  • Removing furniture from your room
  • Grinding down areas on very uneven floors
  • Filling holes in broken floors
  • Altering / cutting a door size to accommodate the new floor
  • Vacuuming service 60p per metre
  • Door trimming & hanging
  • Skirting boards fitted

Planning For Your New Flooring

When you Invest in a beautiful new floor it’s essential that you get it professionally fitted. We offer a complete service from start to finish ensuring that your flooring is the right one for you and that it will last for years to come.

How should you prepare for fitting?
Pay your 50% deposit via bacs or cheque. Contact us and arrange a fitting appointment, we will then order your new flooring, underlay, door bars etc.

Getting your room ready
Depending on which additional services you have previously arranged with us, you may have to make some preparations before we come to fit your flooring. If you are not using our furniture moving service, please move any furniture leaving your room clear ready for the fitting before we are due to arrive.

What to expect on your fitting day
You will need to be at home initially, this is so we can discuss any requirements or unforeseen issues. Our fitters will remove and dispose of your old flooring for you, then we begin to prepare your sub-floor, should you need the extra services of grinding or the filling of holes we can advise you at this time, once we have used a smoothing compound, ply or underlay, we will then lay your beautiful new flooring.

Aftercare
We can advise you on how to take care of your new floor, we also sell kits for maintaining Laminate and Luxury Vinyl Tiles as well.
